Description
A letter to the past explores the retaliation of assaulters that use ‘they did not say no’ as an excuse to
validate their crimes and to give voices to those that were silent as well as reshaping these bad
memories by using my own assaulter as an example to smash the image of him and I and rebuild
the it in my own way because I want the world to recognize any lack of the word yes is a no and
that even to those this has happened to you can still rebuild your own life and come back from
what seems to feel like a completely shattered life. This series includes two videos in one channel to display the duality of this unfortunate situation along with a sculpture which was crafted in one of the videos and is encased in resin.
